The Art of slowing Down
Fine art that stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system.

We live in a world that never sleeps. Our attention is constantly demanded, our nervous system in a perpetual race. Sometimes the world needs to fall silent before we can hear ourselves again.
In the depths of reflection and conscious stillness lies a strength that we often lose sight of in everyday life. My art is a journey through four phases that gently guides you away from the noise and back to yourself:
grounding, clarity, depth and light.
It all starts with Grounding.
Green is the colour of biological well-being. In these shades, your body returns to its natural rhythm. It is the visual reset button that reduces stress and gently grounds you.
Why engaging with art can be so beneficial
We are always reachable for the world, yet we often drift away from our own essence. It is time to nurture the most important connection of all: the relationship with yourself.
My work combines philosophical depth with neuroaesthetic principles to create a space where you can truly find rest.
Find Clarity within yourself.
Vertical lines provide stability for our minds.
My series “Vertical Atmosphere" symbolises mental stability and focus: it helps you find your inner balance and, through its gentle repetitions, creates a clear and calming structure within your field of vision.
Immerse yourself in Silence. (Depth)
Blue opens up space for cognitive expansiveness. Here, you are free to lose yourself. Without a destination, without expectations. It is an invitation to your mind to slip into a state of daydreaming – where true creativity and healing begin.
Take that Glow with you. (Light)
The “Inner Glow" in my artworks harnesses the psychological power of light to inspire confidence. It is the inner light that remains when you embark on a journey of self-discovery.
From digital worlds to analogue tranquillity
“I invite you to see more than just colour in these works; rather, I invite you to see a moment of self-discovery.”

It all began with my studies in Digital Media at Leuphana University Lüneburg. Over the years, I have explored deeply how technology and digital media reshape our perception.
Information overload, endless connectivity, and the fragmentation of our attention have become the new normal. But what happens to our nervous system in this constant rush? We exist in a state of perpetual high alert.
As an artist, I now create a conscious counterpoint to this pace.
My artworks are visual responses to digital fatigue and are designed to stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system. I invite you to explore this space of tranquillity, deep connection and relaxation.

You can request a print version of each piece individually via the contact form.
What does the term “Neuroaesthetics" mean?
Neuroaesthetics examines how our brain responds to visual stimuli.
My works make deliberate use of this knowledge: by combining vertical lines with harmonious colour gradients, the nervous system is gently stimulated to ‘lift itself up’ (mental elevation) whilst simultaneously finding calm. It is art that can actively support your well-being.
What is the best way to experience the artworks?
My work is designed for people who are looking for more than just visual appeal – for those who want to experience an inner transformation. The paintings are particularly effective in spaces where presence matters: in therapy or coaching practices and in environments dedicated to healing and reflection.
At the same time, they appeal to collectors who appreciate quiet, atmospheric works that only reveal their full meaning over time – works of art that do not dominate a space, but breathe within it.
Ultimately, I invite you to pause as you look at them: let your gaze wander and allow yourself a moment to take a deep breath.
